Manuel Britto - President, Certified Electrical Systems
Mr. Britto has over 30 years of experience and is an Unlimited License* holder and Master Electrician in 11 states. He started his career at Narragansett Electric Utility Company in Providence, RI, as a First Class Electrician, Sub-Station Specialties. After spending 10 years there, Mr. Britto decided to open his own electrical company in Providence, RI, named AC Electrical Systems. After 14 years of serving the Greater New England area, Mr. Britto relocated his corporate office to Charlotte, NC and rebranded under the name Certified Electrical Systems.

Over his many years of experience, Mr. Britto has done jobs both large and small. He understands the care needed to execute on intricate renovations, and understands the project planning and estimating needed for large commercial projects. He has taken electrical engineering courses on load calculations, power factors, electrical code studies, transformer applications for commercial and industrial sites, electrical theory, and formulas for solving electrical problems.He utilizes this experience and knowledge to lead a team that services the needs of the Southeast corrider, with sublets in Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, and Florida.

* The Unlimited Electrical Test in North Carolina was voted by EC&M Electrical Magazine as the hardest test in the country. Mr. Britto took the RI, MA, GA and NC tests separately. As a result of the NC test, Mr. Britto was awarded reciprocal licenses for SC, AL, MS, FL, VA,  WV and LA.
